Sensor Glossary今天读了一天的sensor,快晕了,复制一张词汇表,今天在google查词汇的时候发现专业词汇还真是不好找,找到的多是产品广告...
Cryogenic: Pertaining to temperatures that are very low, within a few degrees of absolute zero, much below those prevailing in industry, scientific research , and medical instrumentation.
Gauge factor: The measure of the amount of resistance change for a given strain.
Lumen: A light unit equal to the light emitted within a unit solid angle from a uniform point source with the intensity of one candle.
Measurand: The quantity, property, or condition that the transducer translates to any electrical signal.
Modulus of elasticity: Synonymous with Young’s modulus. A constant that expresses the ratio of unit stress to unit deformation for all values within the proportional limit of the material.
Photocell: The term applied to both photoconductive and photovoltaic devices.
Photoconductive: Having a high resistance in the dark and a low resistance when exposed to light.
Photodiode (semiconductor): A semiconductor diode built with glass or clear plastic over its junction area, so that the diode current varies with the intensity of the light striking it.
Photoelectric transducer: A light-sensitive device that converts light energy into electric energy.
Photoemissive: Capable of emitting electrons when under the influence of light or other radiant energy.
Photomultiplier tube: A vacuum tube with a photosensitive cathode and an anode. With appropriate voltage applied between anode and cathode, light striking the cathode is converted to electrical current. The term refers only to photoemissive, vacuum-tube devices.
Phototransistor: A bipolar junction transistor built so that illumination of the base region causes the transistor current to vary with light intensity.
Photovoltaic cell: Capable of generating a voltage when exposed to visible or other light radiation.
Plasma: A mixture of charge-particle gases.
Rochelle salt, tourmaline, quartz: Natural materials that have piezoelectric properties.
Solar cell: See Photovoltaic cell.
Strain(应变): The elastic deformation produced in a solid under stress.
Strain gauge(应力计): A measuring element for converting force, pressure, tension, and so on, into an electrical signal.
Stress(应力): The internal force per unit area.
Tachometer: A device for indicating speed of rotation.
Thermistor: A semiconductor device whose resistance decreases as the temperature increase.
Thermocouple: A pair of dissimilar conductors joined together so that an electromotive force is developed by the thermoelectric effects when the two junctions are at different temperatures.
Transducer: A device capable of converting one form of energy or signal to another.
